City of San Jose interested in Polish events

I have recently been appointed a City of San Jose Arts Commissioner and perhaps I may be of some help to the art groups in your Polish community.
Please keep me informed of Polish activities in the San Jose and Bay Area. Feel free to call me at any time and perhaps we should meet to discuss how the Arts Commission can help community art projects........408 629 8207

German forced laborers to receive payments

The Polish American Congress is IOM's partner for claims to those residing in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. Over 5,600 individuals have contacted the PAC for claim forms.
The PAC urges all to file their claims before the deadline of August 11, 2001. The PAC office has a toll-free help line to assist with questions. For those who have lost their documents or have little evidence from the Nazi era, the PAC urges them to file anyway. The IOM is working with the International Tracing Service of the Red Cross and with other archives in Germany and in Central Europe to assist with documentation.
