With a spatial resolution of 1.6 million pixels and 1024 levels-of-gray for each pixel, the KODAK MEGAPLUS Camera, Model 1.6i delivers superior quality digital images in a 3:2 format.
Inside the camera head, a charge coupled device (CCD) sensor provides an array of 1534 (H) x 1024 (V) pixels. Each pixel is 9.0 microns square with 100 percent fill factor for unsurpassed light sensitivity and extremely accurate dimensional measurements. Special image enhancement circuitry assures maximum uniformity of images.
The rear of the camera provides connections for power, an external strobe flash unit, and a serial control port/digital video connection to a host computer.
With frame rates up to 5.5 images per second and a rugged, compact design, the KODAK MEGAPLUS Camera, Model 1.6i is ideal for use in medical imaging, machine vision, metrology, microscopy, and a wide range of other applications where superior resolution is required.
- Megaresolution. With a charge coupled device (CCD) array of 1534 (H) x 1024 (V) pixels, the camera provides excellent resolution for demanding applications.
- 10 Bit Digital Output. The MEGAPLUS Camera delivers full 10-bit (1024 levels of gray) digital output with every image captured.
- Maximum Light Sensitivity. Square pixels provide a 100 percent fill factor for unsurpassed sensitivity and extremely accurate sub-pixel measurements.
- Flexible Control. All camera functions can be set through the RS-232 or RS-422 interface or controlled by the supplied KODAK MEGAPLUS Remote Panel Software.
